These repetitive lines are<br \/>\nboth corporeal and temporal inscriptions of the artist\u2019s gesture. The tension<br \/>\ngenerated between two given elements \u2013 attraction, rejection, rupture,<br \/>\ndistance, disparity \u2013 nourishes Bonardet\u2019s work and gives body to his diptychs.<br \/>\nHis drawing practice goes far beyond the confines of a sheet of paper: first<br \/>\nwith filmed performance or photographic documentation of actions (notably<br \/>\nthe photographic series Ligne(s), 2011 featured on the cover of Roven<br \/>\nin 2014, and later shown in the K\u00f6nig gallery in Berlin in 2017, or Fracture II,<br \/>\n2015 acquisitioned by the\u00a0FRAC\u00a0Normandie Rouen) then moving to a three<br \/>\ndimensional practice.
